High Quality Slow-Setting Interior Wood Glue TITEBOND EXTEND !
TITEBOND EXTEND Wood Glue is a slower setting version of TITEBOND ORIGINAL Wood Glue. It offers superior performance in a broad range of applications, including edge and face gluing. It is particularly useful in complex operations such as curved railings and other assemblies that require more time to align. TITEBOND EXTEND develops a bond stronger than wood itself, offers excellent sandability and is unaffected by finishes. It is compatible with all common species of wood, as well as particleboard, MDF, plywood and other porous materials.

PREPARATION :
- The surfaces must be clean, dry, properly cured and free of dirt, oil, paint, old adhesive, wax and sealers.
APPLICATION :
- This wood glue is not intended for use in exterior applications or in areas likely to be exposed to moisture. If necessary, use TITEBOND II PREMIUM or TITEBOND III ULTIMATE.
- Application temperature must be above 40°F (4.5°C).
- Apply wood glue using the plastic bottles for thin applications.
- The glue can also be applied with a roller or brush, depending on the project.
- The clamping pressure required for tight joints is usually between 100 and 150 psi for softwoods, 125 to 175 psi for medium woods and 175 to 250 psi for hardwoods.
- Scrape and sand off dried excess.
WORKING AND DRYING TIME :
- OPEN ASSEMBLY TIME : 15 minutes.
- TOTAL ASSEMBLY TIME: 20 to 25 minutes.
- CLAMPING PRESSURE TIME : 30-45 minutes | Edges and faces : 1 hour.
- COMPLETE DRYING (DO NOT STRESS JOINTS) : 24 hours.
COLOURS :
Yellow (translucent when dried).
TOOL CLEANING :
Immediately after use with water.
COVERAGE :
250 ft2 per gallon approx. depending on the project and application method.
STORAGE :
1 year in tightly closed container stored above 75°F (23.5°C).
