Briançon E800 Wood Mastic is an environmentally friendly, solvent-free product for crack sealing up to 6 mm (1/4 inch). It covers them in a single layer, without shrinking when drying. For larger cracks, use Wood Mastic-Bi.
The Wood Mastic E800 allows a very fine and resistant finish. It is a very flexible product, easy to apply and economical since it does not dry in its packaging. It is moisture resistant, tested for 5 days in total immersion in water at 22 ± 1 °C + 2 cycles of 2 hours in boiling water. Wood Mastic E800 is ready to use. It’s environmentally friendly in aqueous phase. It is non-flammable, non-toxic and ages without blackening the wood. It can be used indoors or outdoors, but it must be covered with a finish. It can be dyed, oiled, varnished or waxed. Very smooth and very dense, the Wood Mastic E800 can be sawed, nailed, screwed, sanded, dyed, waxed, varnished, vitrified like wood.
Preparation:
The wood must be dry, clean, non-greasy, free of wax or dirt traces. Sand and scrape if necessary. Pre-dusting is recommended.

Use:
Apply to cracks, small nodes and nail holes. Carefully select the colour before repairs. Apply to a dust-free surface. With a spatula, carefully push the sealant into the crack. Sand after drying completely.
Drying:
Approximately 3 hours depending on the size of the repair.
