Zinc white or zinc oxide is an inorganic pigment that can be used in glazes, watercolour, oil, eggs, lime, and vinyl acrylic binder. It is slightly bluish and cold and not as covering as titanium dioxide (titanium white) and therefore very popular for creating transparency. It is stable to light and dark.
Zinc white is used as a component for natural outside paint because it has antifungal properties.
