PREPARE:
WHAT IS YOUR SURFACE?
- Rough or unfinished wood – Dust off and paint
- FUSION Mineral Paint – Dust off, clean with TSP and paint
- Melamine and Thermofoil – Clean with TSP, add ULTRA-GRIP to your mix and paint
- Glossy surface – Clean with TSP, remove gloss with fine abrasive paper and paint
- Previously waxed surface – Remove wax with a natural solvent and paint
N.B.: We suggest that you always prepare your surface before painting.
MIX:
PURE PAINT
- 1 part water
- 1 part powder
- Mix for 1 minute
PAINT WITH ULTRA-GRIP
- 1 part water
- 1 part powder
- 2 parts ULTRA-GRIP
- Mix for 1 minute
PAINT:
With the brush of your choice, apply FUSIONâ„¢ Milk Paint on your surface.
Each coat dries in 15 to 30 minutes (yes, it’s fast!).
The second coat can be reapplied immediately after the first has dried.
PROTECT:
Apply a top coat to seal your FUSIONâ„¢ Milk Paint and bring out the true depth of the colour.
This will also seal your paint for a beautiful finish that will last for generations.
Hemp Oil, Furniture Wax or a LIGNA oil for indoor and outdoor are great and easy-to-use options!
