This Bonding Agent is used with milk paint or as a primer for all water-based paints. It will make Fusion paint adhere to slippery surfaces such as glass or metal. The Bonding Agent for milk paint is a concentrated water-based acrylic emulsion. Its application is necessary before painting on surfaces such as glass, baked enamel, painted metal, oil or latex paint, varnishes, lacquers, shellacs, polyurethanes and all types of oil. It gives a very high adhesion to nonporous surfaces. It is environmentally friendly, VOC-free, non-toxic, hypoallergenic and almost odourless.
Make sure the surface to be treated is perfectly clean. Use a cleaner that does not leave soap traces or residue, such as EVO Black Soap. Lightly sand the surface with 100 or 120 grit sandpaper.
For the milk paint: mix 1 part of agent to 2 parts of already prepared milk paint. For better grip, you can increase up to 1 part of agent to 1 part of milk paint. Mix well. Test the surface before painting. You can cover after 12 hours. For subsequent layers of milk paint, it is not necessary to add Bonding Agent.
For other water-based paints: use the Bonding Agent as a primer. Prepare the surface as mentioned above and apply the agent. Once dry, about 12 hours, you can apply the water-based paint of your choice.
Wash the tools with EVO Black Soap and water. The Bonding Agent must be kept at room temperature in its original container.
