Superior to English and American chalk paints, Fusion Ultra Adhesive Mineral Paint can be applied to all surfaces without primer or undercoat. It is ready to use and gives a matte finish, just as authentic as milk paint. Fusion paint does not require finishing, but you can apply one to create glossier or patinated effects or to increase protection from water and friction. Fusion mineral paint is very durable and easy to apply. It offers excellent covering power, which in almost all cases, requires only one coat.

The surface must be clean and dry. Clean with TSP phosphate free organic degreaser. Surfaces, other than bare wood, should be lightly sanded. For glass, metal or glossy plastic, we recommend applying a coat of Homestead House Bonding Agent beforehand.
Fusion applies with a synthetic bristle brush or for a smoother finish, use a dense bristle brush such as the Staalmeester oval brush. It also applies well with a roller. Mix well before the application. All colours can be mixed together to create a multitude of colours. To give a worn effect: use the wax stick to prevent the paint of the second coat from adhering to the places you want to look used. CAUTION : Varnish doesn’t stick to wax.
The paint is dry to the touch after two to three hours. To create antic effect, sand the surfaces with EVO CUT flexible waterproof abrasive sponges. Although it is not required, adding a finish will improve lustre, strength and make the surface much easier to maintain. Apply a wax after 4 hours. You can use Fusion Wax, Homestead House waxes and Carbamex paste wax to create patina. Wait 72 hours before applying Fusion Tough Coat or MULTI-PROTECT by ÉVO for surfaces exposed to moisture and abrasion. For exterior surfaces, use Blanchon Yacht Varnish.
