OIL FOR OUTDOOR WOOD WITH WATERPROOF PROTECTION.
EXTEROL by CARVER is an impregnating oil for wood of natural origin specially designed for the protection of exterior surfaces. This product is suitable for all types of wood. It is particularly effective for the treatment of raw wood and the protection of previously treated furniture. It is recommended for both professional and DIY use. EXTEROL 050 is available in many different colour variants and these can be mixed together at will, depending on the intensity and tone of the desired color. This oil for outdoor wood has anti-slip properties that have been tested by the Giordano Certification Institute in Italy, according to the UNI CEN/TS 15676: 2008 standards.

PREPARATION :
Sand the surface with 80-100 grit abrasives, removing any traces of oil, wax or pre-existing varnish.
Then clean the dust thoroughly.
Shake EXTEROL 050 well to obtain an optimal dispersion of the opacifying substances and pigments.
APPLICATION :
Apply the product with a brush, a microfiber applicator or a cotton cloth.
After 10-15 minutes, rub the treated surface with a cotton cloth to help penetrate the wood pores and remove any excess oil.
After 8 and before 24 hours, a second coat of oil can be applied, without sanding.

2 coats.
DRYING TIME :
Light traffic: 24-48 h.
Complete drying: 10-15 days.
COVERAGE :
On planed wood: 120 to 300 ft2/litre depending on the type of wood to be protected.
Rough lumber or sawn lumber: calculate 50% additional product compared to planed lumber.
TOOL CLEANING :
Use LIGNA® ISO-DULUANT or solvent.
MAINTENANCE :
Regular cleaning with LIGNA® EXTROLIA.
REFRESHMENT :
Intensive cleaning with LIGNA® EXTROLIA. [Dilution EXTROLIA: 5 caps / Litre of water].
Add a thin coat of oil to horizontal surfaces after 1 to 3 years and to vertical surfaces after 3 to 6 years.

STORAGE :
2 to 3 years in an airtight container. Storage area should be dry and slightly tempered.
CAUTION :
After use, cotton cloths impregnated with the products should be immersed in water before disposal to avoid self-combustion.
You can also dry the cloths flat.
The natural color is only for dilution.
